Shadow of a human looking at a virtual city in distance - Living in a holographic world - part II

Could We Live in a Holographic World? Part II

In this follow-up exploration of the holographic universe theory, I look deeper into what “reality” really means. If our world is a projection of deeper layers of information, then everything we experience—our emotions, relationships, choices—might be part of a grand and intricate framework we barely understand.

Rather than diminishing the value of our lives, this idea can actually enrich it. So much of what shapes my world isn’t physical at all: memories, beliefs, shared narratives, imagination. If these invisible structures already guide how I move through life, then a holographic universe may not be so far-fetched—it may simply be another lens through which to understand ourselves.

At the heart of this reflection lies a comforting insight: meaning doesn’t depend on the universe being “real” in the classical sense. Whether we inhabit a physical world, a hologram, or something in between, our experiences still matter. The stories we tell, the connections we form, and the interpretations we choose give shape to our reality.

Perhaps the boundary between fiction and truth isn’t a line at all—but a gradient where curiosity, wonder, and human experience converge.

Do you have a theory that can enrich this idea further? Don’t hesitate to comment.
